Bahya

Overview

The Shark Clicks team worked on developing the best fully integrated digital version of the Bahya website, which is considered the leading institution in the early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Our goal was to deliver a clear and easy experience for visitors and donors, while maintaining proper organization of medical services, donation pages, and awareness campaigns in the simplest ways that help users reach their goals with the fewest steps. In addition, we improved the website’s performance and mobile compatibility to ensure a fast and comfortable user experience. We also focused on highlighting the humanitarian message delivered by Bahya Foundation and its role in the community in a clear and impactful way, while paying close attention to providing a modern interface design that reflects credibility and trust and facilitates access to important information. We also relied on smart content organization to help visitors easily understand the available services without effort, with the aim of supporting the user journey and enhancing donation opportunities and participation in various awareness campaigns.

Our Role

  1. We worked on building a unified Design System that includes visual elements, icons, fonts, and unified colors.
  2. We designed UX/UI for all donation pages, services, cases, awareness, and events.
  3. We worked on providing electronic payment services and payment gateways such as Fawry, Aman, Masary, and Valu, Apple Pay payments, and integration with the National Bank of Egypt electronic payment gateway through Visa and MasterCard, Commercial International Bank, Arab African International Bank, Paymob electronic payments company, payments via Meeza Card, electronic wallets, and Vodafone Cash.
  4. We developed the website using PHP and improved speed, performance, and mobile experience.
  5. We organized medical services content to make it easier and clearer to browse.
  6. We provided multiple secure electronic payment options and gateways.
  7. We improved the user experience across all devices and enhanced accessibility.

The challenge

The challenge was organizing a large amount of content such as services, awareness campaigns, donation methods, activities, and events in an easy, simple, and straightforward way, while maintaining a smooth, fast, and clear donation experience that supports all different types of donations on the same path. We also ensured ease of navigation between pages without distracting the user, achieved a balance between displaying detailed information and maintaining interface simplicity, and carefully considered the different needs of visitors and donors to deliver the best consistent and easy user journey.

Our Approach

We started by analyzing the content and the current site structure, then defined the user experience flow for browsing, donating, and booking. After that, we designed wireframes and visual designs aligned with Bahya Foundation’s identity. During the development phase, we focused on improving website performance, speed, and organizing pages in a more user-friendly way. Then, we integrated electronic donation systems and conducted full testing to ensure ease of use and website stability across all different devices.

Customer Journey

The client was involved with us throughout many different stages of the project, starting from reviewing wireframes and approving designs to reaching the donor journey experience before launch. This continuous collaboration helped us develop the website in a way that reflects Bahya’s medical and humanitarian message and provides an easy and clear user experience for donations and showcasing various services to users.
