Overview

Our team worked on developing a modern digital interface specifically for the Mersal Foundation website, with the goal of facilitating users’ access to medical services and information related to treatment and campaigns. We focused on building a simple experience that clearly and smoothly showcases the scale of the foundation’s efforts, while making the donation process easier and supporting all medical cases. We also worked on improving website speed and ensuring mobile compatibility to deliver a smooth and stable user experience. Additionally, we paid close attention to unifying the website’s visual identity to reflect the foundation’s message and humanitarian values, simplifying the page structure to reduce the number of steps required to reach the desired service. We ensured content clarity and organized it in a simple, seamless way to make it easy to read for different audiences, while highlighting impactful success stories to encourage donors.

Our Role

  1. We prepared a comprehensive visual system that reflects the medical and humanitarian identity of the Mersal Foundation.
  2. We designed the user experience for the donation pages, campaigns, cases, and various treatment programs.
  3. We provided electronic payment services and payment gateways such as Fawry, Aman, Masary, Valu, and Apple Pay, as well as integration with the National Bank of Egypt’s electronic payment gateway through Visa and MasterCard, Commercial International Bank, Arab African International Bank, PayTabs payment company, Meeza card payments, electronic wallets, and Vodafone Cash.
  4. We developed the website technically using PHP while enhancing performance efficiency and fast loading speed.
  5. We redistributed the medical content in the best simple and easy-to-browse ways.
  6. We enabled electronic donation integration through multiple methods and secure payment gateways.
  7. We improved the mobile browsing experience to ensure users can access information more easily and quickly.
  8. We showcased programs and projects through designs focused on clearly presenting impact and medical needs.

The challenge

The challenge was to present comprehensive medical and humanitarian content in a clear and organized way, especially with the presence of emergency cases and numerous campaigns that require fast and impactful presentation. The requirement was to create a digital format that helps users understand the needs of all campaigns, making donation easier without distraction or complexity.

Our Approach

We reviewed the website structure and analyzed how campaigns and different cases were displayed. Then, we defined a clear user journey from the first visit to the moment of making a donation decision. We designed wireframes for the website and moved on to visual designs aligned with the Mersal Foundation’s identity. During the development phase, we focused on improving speed and organizing all pages clearly and simply for users. We integrated multiple electronic donation systems and conducted extensive testing to ensure a smooth and stable experience.

Customer Journey

The client followed the development stages with us step by step, from approving the way campaigns and case details were presented to the final donation experience before launch. This collaboration helped us create a website that professionally and clearly showcases the foundation’s efforts while delivering a simple experience for both users and donors.
