Al-Harefa
Overview
The Shark Clicks team developed the Al-Harefa platform, which is considered one of the best digital platforms that connect freelancers with clients and enable professional, secure, and easy project management. We focused on redesigning all interfaces and significantly improving the user experience. We then developed a very modern technical infrastructure that supports high daily usage and delivers stable performance across all different devices. We also paid close attention to simplifying the user journey within the platform to ensure easy registration and smooth, simple project handling. In addition, we organized features and services in the clearest and easiest way to help speed up task completion. Finally, we focused on implementing strong security and data protection elements to ensure user trust and maintain long-term platform usage.
Our Role
- We conducted a full analysis of the existing platform and identified the appropriate development requirements.
- We designed the complete UX/UI for all different pages across the platform.
- We worked on providing electronic payment services and payment gateways such as Fawry, Aman, Masary, Valu, Apple Pay, and integration with the National Bank of Egypt electronic payment gateway via Visa and MasterCard, Commercial International Bank (CIB), Paymob for electronic payments, Cashier for electronic payments, Amazon Payments, PayTabs, Meeza card payments, electronic wallet payments, and Vodafone Cash.
- We significantly developed both the front-end and back-end using scalable and easy-to-maintain technologies.
- We built custom dashboards specifically designed for clients and freelancers.
- We fully developed project management, messaging, proposals, and user profile systems.

The challenge
Our challenge was to integrate the largest possible number of different functionalities into a single platform without affecting interface clarity or usage speed. We also needed to provide the best possible experience for two different user groups—clients and freelancers—while maintaining smooth navigation and consistent, professional branding.
Our Approach
We began by studying user behavior within the platform, then defined clear flows for all core processes such as project posting, account creation, payment execution, and proposal submission. We designed clear and simple interfaces based on a consistent visual identity and professional color schemes. After design approval, we developed the platform using modern technologies that ensure fast loading speeds, stable performance, secure data architecture, and reliable payment systems. Finally, we conducted comprehensive testing to ensure ease of use and platform responsiveness under high load before the final launch.
Customer Journey
The client journey with us was one of the most important phases during project execution. We worked closely with the Al-Harefa team to review all requirements and approve design and development stages. The client also participated in reviewing wireframes and testing, which helped us deliver a fully integrated platform that provides a clearer and more user-friendly experience for both clients and freelancers.
