Egyptian Al-Shifa Bank
Overview
The team worked on developing the digital experience of the Egyptian Al-Shifa Bank website with the aim of presenting treatment services, providing medications, supporting medical cases, and showcasing surgical programs in a simple and user-friendly way. We focused on simplifying the donation journey and delivering an optimal interface that helps visitors quickly understand the medical projects. In addition, we improved website performance to ensure smooth browsing on both mobile and web platforms. We also paid great attention to organizing medical and humanitarian content in a way that enhances the impact of donations and highlights their vital role in saving patients’ lives. We designed a clear and straightforward user flow to help users easily reach donation options and important information, and we clarified project overview pages to build user trust. All of this was done to deliver a fully integrated digital experience that reflects the humanitarian and medical mission of the Egyptian Al-Shifa Bank and facilitates digital support from donors.
Our Role
- We developed a fully integrated visual system that reflects the humanitarian and medical mission of the Egyptian Al-Shifa Bank.
- We worked on providing electronic payment services and gateways such as Fawry, Aman, Masary, ValU, and Apple Pay, as well as integration with the National Bank of Egypt’s electronic payment gateway via Visa and MasterCard, Commercial International Bank (CIB), Paymob for electronic payments, Cashier for electronic payments, Amazon Payments, PayTabs for electronic payments, Meeza Card payments, electronic wallet payments, and Vodafone Cash.
- We prepared a complete Design System that includes colors, icons, typography, and cards used to display all projects.
- We designed the UX/UI for treatment pages, surgical operations, pharmaceutical support, and donation pages.
- We worked on improving the structure of medical content and various cases in a simple way that helps users access information easily.
- We developed the website using PHP, increased loading speed, and ensured website stability during browsing.
- We integrated multiple secure electronic payment gateways to make donations easier for users.
- We improved the mobile experience and ensured full interface compatibility across all different devices.
The challenge
One of the main challenges we faced during project execution was organizing a large volume of content that included surgical operations, treatment cases, medication campaigns, and many different medical projects in the best possible way that makes it easy for users to understand and allows them to donate without complexity or distraction while browsing.
Our Approach
We started by analyzing medical services and different programs, then designed the user journey from the moment of entering the website until completing the donation process. We designed wireframes and approved visual directions that suit the Egyptian Al-Shifa Bank during the development phase. We also focused on improving speed and performance, simplifying access to main pages, and organizing the presentation of cases. Finally, we integrated electronic donation systems and conducted multiple full tests to ensure smooth and fast performance across all different devices.
Customer Journey
The client journey with us was one of the most important phases throughout the project. The client was highly cooperative during the execution journey, from the initial design approvals to testing the donor experience and medical content before launching the website. This cooperation helped us deliver a website that clearly reflects the mission of the Egyptian Al-Shifa Bank and provides a simple, smooth, and fast user experience for donors without complexity.
